Waterford Tall Ships 2011

TOTEM concieved the brand identity and carried it’s essence through to a host of marketing and sales literature, including an initial press advertising campaign and a targeted outdoor execution in the UK.

The brand reflects the energy, vibrancy and diversity that the Tall Ships Race will bring to Waterford in 2011. Using a strong, festive colour palette to create a fun, family friendly feel, it celebrates the coming together of cultures, crews and communities. Three distinctive intersecting sail shapes (representing each of the 3 Tall Ship Classes) unify to create a singular, dynamic Tall Ship icon, which is complimented by the word “Waterford’ underneath, making the ships hull.

Work on a second wave of national advertising across, TV, press and outdoor has commenced.
